Terms & Conditions, General Info
Please take the time to explore Romi’s portfolio first and make sure her styles and techniques genuinely align with what you’re looking for. Romi specialises in realism, hyper-realism, painterly, avant-garde and other similar styles, in both black and grey and colour, and there are certain styles and types of tattoos she does not offer.
We kindly ask that you only submit an enquiry if your idea is reasonably suited to Romi’s work. This helps avoid disappointment for you and allows us to respond more efficiently to clients who are specifically looking for Romi’s style.
Please be respectful of her time and avoid sending requests for tattoos that are clearly outside her portfolio, techniques or specialisms.
Response Times
We’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Please allow a couple of weeks for a response, particularly during busy periods, holidays or when we’re out of the studio.
Stay Connected
Want to know what’s happening at the studio? Instagram and our WhatsApp Insiders Group are the best places for the latest updates, announcements and availability.
We also have Facebook and TikTok, although these are updated less frequently.
Before You Enquire, Creative process
-
Take the time to explore Romi’s portfolio and research her work before submitting an enquiry. Make sure her style and approach genuinely align with what you’re looking for.
-
Think carefully about your tattoo idea and make sure you’re happy with the overall direction.
-
If you’re unsure, ask Romi for advice before booking — especially if it’s your first tattoo.
-
Romi’s aim is to create a unique, personalised piece designed specifically for you, taking your skin, body shape, composition, colour and contrast into consideration.
-
Because you won’t see the final design before your appointment, it’s important that you feel confident in Romi’s work and trust her creative process before paying your deposit.
-
The design and its key details are discussed and agreed together beforehand, so you and Romi are on the same page about the direction while still giving her the creative freedom to develop the final piece.
-
Final designs and stencils are not sent in advance. The design is presented on the morning of your tattoo session. Some designs may need to be adjusted at the beginning of the session to suit your actual body shape and skin, or to accommodate something unexpected that could not be anticipated during the design process.
-
This approach allows Romi to work intuitively and create the best possible composition for your individual body, while also protecting her original artwork and intellectual property.

Requirements for Bookings:
Bookings, Deposits & Rescheduling
-
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. Deposits are non-transferable.
-
Please give at least 10 full calendar days’ notice if you need to change your appointment. Weekends and bank holidays do not count towards the notice period. Please don’t leave it until the last minute — earlier notice gives us a better chance of offering the date to someone else.
-
Let us know as soon as possible if your contact details change so we can keep your booking information up to date.
-
Any changes to your tattoo design should be communicated promptly, ideally before your appointment.
-
Your deposit may be rolled over once to an agreed alternative date. Further changes to the same appointment may incur a small rescheduling fee.
-
Please allow your entire day for your tattoo session if booking for a full day session. Sessions can occasionally run longer than expected, and charges may apply if you are unable to stay for the full pre-booked session due to other commitments.
-
In exceptional circumstances, Romi may need to change an appointment. As she is currently working independently, there is no substitute artist available. Every effort will be made to avoid this, but if a change is absolutely necessary, you will be contacted as soon as possible and your deposit will be transferred to the new agreed date.
-
If you arrive with any contraindications that mean you cannot safely be tattooed, your appointment may need to be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited. Please make sure you read and follow both the T&Cs and pre-care guidelines before your appointment.
-
All tattoo enquiries are handled exclusively through the website enquiry form. Please don’t send tattoo enquiries via Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook or TikTok. With the volume of messages across different platforms, these can easily be overlooked or become difficult to keep track of.
-
Keeping enquiries in one place helps Romi avoid confusion and manage communication properly. If a tattoo enquiry is noticed elsewhere, you will simply be redirected to the website form — either by an automated response or personally, which may sometimes take weeks or even months.
-
Contact Romi via the website enquiry form with a description of your tattoo idea, approximate size and placement. Supporting images, sketches or other references are welcome if available.
-
If you take medication or have any relevant medical concerns, check with your GP beforehand if necessary to make sure tattooing is suitable for you.
-
An in-person consultation may be required for certain projects, such as scar or tattoo cover-ups, measuring gaps between existing tattoos, or assessing skin structure and conditions.
-
this : Enquiries & Consultations
-
The studio is appointment only — we do not accept walk-ins, including for consultations. The studio may be closed, or we may be working with another client, whose time deserves our full attention.
-
Not every enquiry or tattoo requires a separate consultation. Email communication is our preferred form of consultation, as it keeps all important details and decisions documented. Your first consultation is free.
-
If we feel a separate video or in-person is needed, we will arrange this with you and provide a one-time booking link created specifically for you. These links cannot be shared or reused, as this can lead to overbooking and wasted appointment time.
-
Every consultation has a purpose, so please only book one when we have agreed that it is needed.
-
Your first consultation is free of charge. If you cancel and require another consultation, a small fee may apply. This fee will be deducted from your tattoo deposit if you proceed with booking.
-
Pre-care guidelines will be sent before you book your tattoo. Please read them carefully before choosing your date. Some of Romi’s techniques are particularly sensitive to skin condition, and proper preparation can significantly affect both the tattooing process and healing.
-
Arriving unprepared or with compromised skin may result in your session being cancelled and your non-refundable deposit being lost. These requirements are in place to give your tattoo the best possible chance of healing well and achieving a result that both you and Romi can be proud of, while reducing the risk of unnecessary and potentially costly touch-ups.

Bring valid physical photo ID — this is required regardless of your age.
-
Shower before your appointment, but don’t apply any creams to the tattoo area on the day.

-
Completion time depends on the size, placement, colour, level of detail, and your pain tolerance — and, occasionally, pineapples. 🍍
-
Avoid intense workouts for about a week after your session.
-
Avoid sun exposure and sunbeds for two months before and after your session. Once healed, always use sunscreen on your tattoo.
-
Avoid alcohol for one week after your session to support healing.
-
Stay hydrated to support the healing process.
-
Keep your tattoo clean and moisturised. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided verbally and in writing.
Why Allow at Least 2 Weeks Between Sessions?
-
A minimum break between sessions allows time for your body and tattoo to recover and helps us plan the next session properly. Factors include:
-
Healing time — the skin needs time to recover.
-
Avoiding damage — tattooing healing or recently worked skin can compromise the result.
-
Tattoo size and complexity — larger / detailed projects / mature or dry skin may require more recovery time.
-
Pain tolerance — giving your body a break can make the next session more manageable.
-
Immune system recovery — tattooing is a physical stress on the body.
-
Budgeting — it also gives you time to prepare financially for your next session.
-
Artist availability — the next session also needs to fit around the artist’s schedule.

Contact Form
-
Please, come preferably alone — this helps maintain focus, privacy, and hygiene for everyone.
-
Companions can stay in the waiting area divided by the counter, but they are generally not allowed beyond the reception area.
-
Exceptions may be made only when necessary due to a medical condition and must be discussed in advance, If a private room needs to be arranged, we need to ensure other clients booked that day are comfortable and put alternative measures in place where appropriate.
