  • Can I sunbathe after my tattoo?
You must avoid sun exposure and sunbeds for at least two months. After the healing period, use sunscreen factor 50 to prevent irreversible fading.
  • Can I drink alcohol after my session?
Avoid alcohol consumption for one week after your session.
  • Tips to ensure healthy healing of your tattoo
Keep hydrated to help your skin heal. Don't overexert yourself for the first week after the session. Avoid strenuous exercise. Ensure your tattoo is kept clean and moist all the time during the healing period. DON'T overstrain your tattoo for the first week after the session. Raising your temperature makes the healing process longer and leads to the worse result.
  • Why do I have to wait between tattoo sessions?
You must wait 2-4 weeks for healing time, tattoo size, pain threshold, immunity, saving up money and artist availability.
  • Can I be tattooed whilst on my period?
No, being on your period will increase your sensitivity to pain and increase your chances of swelling. Also, the skin may reject pigment.
  • What is the deposit and cancellation policy?
A non-refundable deposit secures bookings and is non-transferable. Notify at least 10 working days in advance for date changes ( weekends and bank holidays not included). Notify us about changes of your contact details. Changes to the tattoo design require prompt communication. Deposits may be rolled over once to an agreed-upon amended date Charges apply if unable to stay for a full length of the pre-booked session . In exceptional circumstances, appointment changes may occur, communicated in advance. If you show up with any contraindications that would suggest you cannot be tattooed on the day, then please note you may be turned away on your appointment date.
  • What should I do before making a booking?
Contact me via email / tattoo enquiry form on a website with a description, size, and placement of your envisioned tattoo, including supporting media if available (pictures, sketches, etc.). This is optional, not always required. Specify your available dates for the tattoo session. Disclose any health issues, skin conditions, or if it's a cover-up. Confirm medication compatibility with your GP. Inform about skin conditions and allergies; a patch test is recommended. In-person consultations may be required for specific cases, with a small fee deductible from the deposit. You CANNOT be tattooed whilst on your period, please book with this in mind.
  • What SHOULD I do before my session?
Carefully consider if you truly want the tattoo. Research extensively. Choose a pale area for better visibility. Moisturise and exfoliate the chosen area for 2 weeks before the session . You may epilate the chosen area a few days before the session. No fake tan , tanning beds, or excessive sun exposure one month before the booking No heavy partying days before. Stay hydrated, get rest, and have enough money. Avoid alcohol consumption two days before the session. Disclose medical conditions with a doctor's note. Bring ID (18+). Shower beforehand. Don't shave the area; the artist will do it. Ask about pain relief beforehand. Changes to the design must be discussed beforehand; please do not leave it for the time after your arrival.
  • What SHOULDN'T you do before your session
DON'T go if you are ill, but make sure to inform your artist. DON'T attend your appointment if you are on your period. DON'T drink alcohol the night before. It thins your blood. DON'T drink alcohol the week after as it thins the blood and lowers immunity. DON'T shave the area of shin that is about to be tattooed – your artist will do it for you. DON'T tan or sunburn. DON'T apply numbing cream otherwise we will refuse to tattoo this area.
  • How should I prepare my skin?
Moisturise for 2 weeks prior to the session, at least a couple times a day, the skin should be well moisturised. Just before the session, make the depilation of the chosen body part, this will make the process easier. If you're on the cancellation list make sure you're doing this all the time, just in case you get called! If your skin is dry, exfoliate 2-3 times before session to get rid of dry dead skin cells. Allow skin to settle for three days after exfoliating before your session. Avoid tanning at least one month before session, if you had a sunburn this must be completely healed safely at least one week before session. Do not get sunburn
  • What should I do if I have a medical condition?

If you are unsure, please consult your GP If you have any kind of skin condition please inform me before booking in, consult with your GP / dermatologist to make sure you are safe to have your tattoo done and what risks you might be facing. I may have to refuse to work on you if I think it may harm your health or compromise the quality of the tattoo Discuss any allergies you have with your artist so instruments/consumables/ingredients can be checked. • What tattoo considerations should I have?
Explore my portfolio Reflect deeply on your tattoo idea RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH - your idea, artists you like and their work. Not all skin types are suitable for any style. Choose the part where your skin is the palest, the lighter the canvas is, the more shades are visible to an artist. As a result, the tattoo will look better. Seek advice if you're uncertain. Consult your doctor if you have any medical conditions. You should not get tattooed during your period, or if you use steroids ( gym enthusiasts) due to potential pigment rejection. You cannot have a tattoo during pregnancy or while you breastfeed. Be patient for responses; reminders are welcomed if needed. Urgent matters can be communicated by calling 07930 939539.

Further information and an aftercare booklet will also be provided to you at the end of your session and you can ask any questions you may have.
